Hollywood
Although it is a stand alone town with plenty else to offer, Hollywood is always associated with one thing – cinema. For anyone that is even vaguely familiar with movies, the Hollywood Hills in California are instantly recognisable given the large letters that spell out the town’s name and overlook the rest of Tinsel Town.
On screenoholic.org, you can learn more about Hollywood, which is undoubtedly the world’s largest cinema industry and way ahead of those in Bollywood and Hong Kong, despite the sheer magnitude of the latter mentioned two rivals to its crown. Each day, hundreds of movies are shot in the area as dreams are made and budding actors and actresses meet with movie studio bigwigs and learn more about their next role.
As can be learnt on screenoholic.org, Hollywood first came to fruition around the early 1920s when pioneers were looking for parts of the US that offered longer hours of daylights to shoot in that those of New York. Once Hollywood was deemed worthy of this role, the cash soon piled in, with the town becoming one of the fastest growing in America and the base for giants such as 20th Century Fox among others.
Up until this very day, Hollywood continues to go from strength to strength and shows little signs of disappearing off the map. Due to a recent merger with the chiefs of India’s Bollywood industry however, it is set to enjoy even more success in the upcoming years. While screenoholic.org is useful for learning more about Hollywood, it can come to the rescue for learning about a host of other things, such as famous actors and actresses or the latest releases.
